Anyone daring enough to make early predictions?

i'd like to see a match-up between the chargers and the eagles...
(and then the chargers hogstomp the eagles!)

BTW, hogstomp is my new word for 2007.

i'm thinking saints and chargers, chargers win 27-21

DA Bears win in OT

An NFL "insider" I know predicts Chargers vs. Pats AFC Final.  Lets see how the Pats fair tomorrow vs. the Jets.

I used to like the Jets when they played at Shea.  No, No, Gastineau  :-D

I think the Bears make it past their first opponent, and maybe to the bowl, but I think the Chargers will be the winner.  The NFC...  It's really up for grabs, but because I'm near Chicago, how could I not go with the Bears.  I'll even bet on them in the superbowl regardless.  I bet with my heart.

I know the offense sucked, but I still think the D rules.  I believe they have been giving different looks so they can't be watched too closely.  They'll tighten it up in the next few games, and I think the running game is going to go turbo with both Jones and Benson.

Manning vs Rivers

A year too late; the best QB of their draft class already got a ring.

W/ The Steelers missing the playoffs, I turn my allegiance to the NY J-E-T-S because Ive always liked Pennington, and what a comeback he has made to be an effective QB after 2 shoulder surgeries.  I saw every game he and Randy Moss played together @ Marshall, and have always been impressed w/ his demeanor, his personality, and his play.

Besides, no way the NFC takes it; the AFC completely dominated the NFC this season.  If I had to cheer for an NFC team... it would have been the Giants in week 6, but after they fell apart (maybe twice) Id have to go w/ the Saints.  One thing I will say about the NFC is "Fuck the Bears."  Grossman is a FLOP.

Anyway, this isnt a prediction as to who will win, as the thread asked for, just who Id pull for.  Reality is that the Jets will be lucky to make it past this afternoon.

We won't need Grossman.  Wait till you see Benson peeling off 7yds/carry on average.  Plus the Bears will have at least 1 defensive touchdown/game

I'll be making a donation to this site shortly, if they lose, I'll add the amount the bears lose by (in dollars) to my donation.  If they win, then cool.
