On my MacBook avatars, other that your's, aren't showing up. I can see my own if I go to my profile, but in threads everyone is either avatar-less or has the outline of a person avatar.

Avatars may need to get re-uploaded, sorry. Everything went through a major conversion and those are now treated as "attachments" - some got the proper extension, others did not for some unknown reason. We have tens of thousands of them and I cannot add the extension to each one.

Had the same issue. It actually popped up at the very top of the mobile page above the paug header once I scrolled up.

In terms of the login - I don't see the issue. I log out, and then when I come back to homepage, it offers me to login or sign up - it's at the very top of the page (so it has moved, but is still available). Are you not seeing that?

Mobile is indeed a HUGE part of this upgrade - it's like night and day.
Avatars/attachments are gonna be a bit wonky for a bit. Trying to figure out some issues with either permissions or the MySQL database. Hopefully I can figure out a way to get them working.

so I'm actually really annoyed about it. long story short (and this may make no sense to 95% of you, but), when I did the upgrade, the 'path' of the smileys was incorrect for some reason. so, when the upgrader got to that part, it said "ok, but there's nothing there, so I'm just gonna tell the database I found it and it's blank"
instead of "hey, it's blank - let's fix that OR maybe just don't write anything down about it yet". we have all of the files, so those are not lost, but the software just isn't talking to them right now.

I see it now. I was just looking for it down lower next to the prominent Home and Sign Up buttons (in the area circled in the image below), and my eyes didn't see it all the way at the top.

So I'm a little confused - some of you are saying this is a big improvement on mobile but mine is looking terrible. Like GBL mentioned, everything is sized strangely and the actual post content is hard to find... basically everything BUT the actual posts are taking up the majority of my screen.
Is there some other mobile mode I should be using? I'm actually not even using chrome on my phone (not sure why) but safari has always been my default...

well i think it all depends on your screen size, but basically, it's a fully-functional mobile site now. that is really the main difference. before, you really couldn't use the desktop version on mobile without several issues, and even then, it never formatted correctly by itself. it will now auto-adapt to any screen with all features being available. the issue of the profiles being large is annoying - i am seeing that on my phone, so let me see if there is any way to fix that without having to re-write the entire Theme (which i can't do, anyway).
also, most of the smileys should be back. let me know if i missed any of them, or if the bbcode i used is different from before and you boomers can't adapt. :tte:

I clicked on a user's profile and it automatically took me to the login.
It was by mistake as I'd almost given up on setting up a new profile.
Its on the top "Search" bar banner It says you can Sign up or Log in, I believe.
I opened up the site on a pc at work. There is a sign up link but I see no link to sign in. The pc is running chrome and IE on windows 10.
Obviously it is working on my iPhone.

yes, https was one of the main updates done as well. we don't have a certificate or anything, but it now properly works with the http server, which the previous version did not. Security in general should be vastly improved, as we have new Captcha settings in place, too. There is 2-factor authentication available as well - it has to be manually enabled.
Something is up with the Calendar. It says Todd and I's birthdays are on the 14th, but our birthdays are the 15th, it also has Will's birthday as the 16th, but his birthday was the 17th.

I did notice that my profile time setting was reset to GMT.
yeah there is a time issue. i'm not sure what is up, but the server didn't recognize any time zone i put in, and i had to manually offset it. i will look at ways to fix it, as it seems like this may be causing more issues than i had anticipated.

For some reason that was default 'on' for me so I had no idea what you were talking about...yay settings!

We didn't - but you have to actually hit the "REPLY" button to use it. It won't show up in the "quick reply" window.

I'll see if I can get that back running in the quick-reply. It was an old plugin and I removed it when we upgraded to the latest version.
@tet I got an email from a guy whom I know to be a real, human, Phish fan that was trying to register... He says the verification questions simply do not work. Might explain why we haven't had a single registration since June of last year.

Yeah it's showing NYC. But I don't see it as a match to any particular ban trigger.
Probably blocking Belfast as an anti-imperialism measure...
