what's considered a travel these days is pretty strict.
I might disagree with the disagreement, but it's mostly around watching something specific not get called a travel ever.
There have been no less than 3 occasions in the 3 Celtics-Cavs games where Donovan Mitchell has driven, gone up for what would be a shot in the paint, seen a 7 footer (Horford or Kornet) basically ready to block whatever he was going to throw toward the rim, change his mind to pass, land with at least one foot, then release the pass. This is a travel, plain and simple. Has not been called once.
