Yeah?  I've been looking at this one for years.  Do you have one, both of you?

Yeah, the record doctors you have to rotate record by hand rather than just putting it on the platter and hitting a button.  It's not so bad.  You do one side, then you flip it and do the other.  Takes a few minutes per record to do it right.  So, really, the most I've ever done is 3-4 records at a time.  Usually I will just do one record when I grab it, and ideally, once it's clean it shouldn't need another clean for several plays.  I've done very few records more than once.

Got my St Louis 72 vinyl today, sounds really good and the presentation is super nice.

Yeah VMP has some silly prices sometimes. Their exclusives are like 35-50$ and you can get the same album for 20-25$ at your local shop just without a colored/splattered vinyl.

That Target one is the one I have. I got it for free using Microsoft Points to get Target Gift Cards. I do that quite often. I end up with a free record every month or so that way.

It's actually a pretty easy system to farm gift cards. I'm old-school and have a Hotmail account that I've had since the late 90's. Hotmail has evolved from Hotmail, to Live, to Outlook. If you use the Bing search engine you earn points for every search you do (up to 150 points a day), and also Daily Quest points for taking quick quizzes & giving opinions (you also get more points for 'Streaks' of days where you completed Daily Quests.


I started gaming the system by having my wife start an Outlook account, that she doesn't use, so I could earn twice as many gift cards. My old school Hotmail account is grandfathered in, so it can earn Amazon gift cards, but new accounts don't get the Amazon option. I'd say I spend less than 5 minutes in the more morning earning points for both accounts while drinking my coffee. I just type a letter in the Bing Searchbar and hit enter, then repeat until I get my full daily points.
