I'd refer to it as more of a 'Spaceship Boner'

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

For Fishman - I gotta go with Reba. I love what he does the entire fugue section
Favorite Fishman "groove" may be The Wedge
Stash is up there too

non Fishman - those ones mentioned are OK but not the best

Off the top of my head- all of Mitch Mitchell's fills in Little Wing are way better, especially between verse 1 and 2

and, it's not a fill, but Bonham's work on the intro to GTBT kills me.

I might consider your nomination of Little Wing if you hadn't linked the SRV version!   :hereyougoyousentimentalbastar  :hereyougoyousentimentalbastar  :hereyougoyousentimentalbastar

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Thanks.  I enjoyed that song.  This Jimmy Hendricks guy has potential.  I think he has a great future ahead of him.

Quote from: WhatstheUse? on August 27, 2022, 10:54:59 AMThere's a 99/00 Piper where Fish plays like a full minute fill on the Toms before finally going back into a "beat". It's unreal. I'll have to dig...

Oh man i forgot about that.  I want to say it's 9/11/00 but i'm not sure.  I'm like 84% sure it's from Fall 2000 tho.

My most impressive Fishman moment came in a Possum from last year, actually.  His snare drum fill at the top of the peak is almost a blast beat.  I was floored when he did that.

It's 10/16/21 and it's almost like a Slayer drum beat/fill section.  I've never heard him play like that.  It's unreal.

SBD gives you the full picture but the AUD isn't bad at displaying the playing.
