I walked around looking for a ticket for almost 2 hours before this show. I was walking back to Excalibur ready to admit defeat when out of no where a friend text me, said they had a ticket that didn't get scanned and sent me a pic of barcode. I ran back to the MGM faster than Ferris Bueller trying to beat his mom home, got to the door and showed them the picture of the bar code and the door guy looked at me like I was crazy to think that it would work. I explained to him my friend had the ticket inside and was already seated, and if I could get inside, I could get the ticket. He looked at me and said "aite, you got a 20$ bill?", I was baffled that was his price point but okay. He walked me through security into the venue to the bathroom where the transaction went down. Never done that before but I guess Vegas would be the place for it. Walked out of the bathroom and they started up Antelope. I was laughing all the way to my friends seat thinking about what I must have looked like to all those ppl I ran by like a madman otw back to MGM.

Was behind the stage couple rows from the Paug crew for this one. Second set was sick, loved the encore too. Thought the flow for this show was better than the number themed show. Got the fast llama again. You Pet Cat jam went out there. Piper was fun. Haven't seen a Harpua in 6 years either.  :beerbang:

ummmm
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Gonna go out on a limb (by limb) and say he means Dog Faced Boy.

The struggle to integrate back into reality is real.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Anyone else concerned about Trey's range going forward?

This was my least favorite of the run. Not the one I would use as a barometer of his playing.

gbl and i were discussing harpua as a possibility before they played it.  i said something like harpua was played out.  the bakers dozen one was just weird.  the chicago one with 2nd city sucked.  the portsmouth father's day wasn't anything special.  however, this was a great harpua.  it reminded me a lot of the udder ball verson on 12/30/97.  maybe that's what made this run feel so nostalgic.  either way, i was hanging on every word.

Upon relisten, I totally agree. This was light years better than the two Harpuas I saw prior, Clifford Ball and SPAC 09. While I couldn't remember it later that night, I was also hanging on every word in the moment. Did I go down before, during, or after Harpua? Anyone remember?  :willynilly:

This one was great but the dicks 15 where jimmy drove west and accidentally bought a nitrous tank instead of an oxygen is pretty good too. Even though the covers were butchered.
