Congrats Scott, that will be awesome.
Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

Nice!
Great lineup this year

And not even on the bottom line, amazing!

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

The Jauntee has fiiinnnnaaally got back into the studio to mix our next record!  So far, it has been a stressful, yet exhilarating process. We recorded everything ourselves throughout the pandemic but wanted to work with a studio for mixing the final product.

Admittedly... I'm a pretty manic, detail obsessed, control freak. My solo album took around 4 months to mix, going back and forth with an engineer for  tons of revisions. I've spent an entire day obsessing over the volume and pan position of a single tambourine.

This studio, however, is running a primarily analog set-up. Meaning, the audio signal/electricity is literally running through the gear itself rather than being 0's and 1's in a computer.  It's all happening "live" - We're making "real time" decisions... moving faders, twisting knobs, etc. Sometimes all four of us at the board at once.  When we are "done" mixing that song... it's done. That's how it sounds.

It's been a new experience for me.... This is how most of the best albums ever were made, but .... still.....a new process for me!

New challenges are good. Also, I like the idea of the mix being a performance rather than a programed entity.

Lastly, I like the idea of a new Jauntee album.

Yes, to all of this!

A studio version of Raven Claws or The Machine would be sick!

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

You'll get one of the two!

I'm most excited to share all the new tunes. We've been holding off on playing them live for quite awhile so that the album versions can be their debut.

I am absolutely loving the sound of the studio version of Dirty Job! The only downside is that it fades out right where I expect you guys to just take off with it and go someplace funky.

Scott, do you know if Color Red is planning on pressing this to a 7"? I buy some great stuff from Color Red all the time.

Glad to hear you dig! And... obviously, I'm right there with you regarding the fade-out. That wasn't our choice.

I don't know about a vinyl. Kinda doubt it since I haven't heard anything...

Just finished up our tour last night at NW String Summit and had such a f'n blast! That place is magical and I'm sad it's the last one. I really couldn't have asked for a better end to tour. Def gained a ton of new fans in the PNW - those people know how party! Now just a measly 20 hour ride home!
