as much as i love Portland and love Dame, i think it might be best for both to start over.

It's a mess, Blazers will suck for years now. They need to bring in competent management. We're in a rebuild but just let our backup center sign a two year contract with the Suns for only 5 million. We literally have one player over 6'9" that can play minutes and Nurk has been pretty disappointing. 

Team is an absolute shitshow and I don't fault Dame one bit for wanting out. He gave it maximum effort every time he stepped on the floor, unfortunately the same can't be said of the Blazer organization.

Blazers will be better off in the end I think.  Just depends who they get for Dame.  It was handled so poorly.  Should have traded him two seasons ago instead of wasting all this time, and also doubling down on the contract extension.  Between Sharpe, Scoot and Simons we have the basis for a good rebuild but we really need to ditch Nurk.  Grant will be a decent vet presence but he might be gone in January.  The management and ownership sucks. The moment we drafted another guard, the writing was on the wall.  I love Dame, I think the whole thing was handled poorly.  Olshey fucked it up and Cronin is no better.  They were never going to spend the money to bring in someone who would make a difference.  It will be interesting to see who we get for Dame.

I think the Blazers did pretty well all things considered, Ayton is an upgrade and hopefully we can get the SF we need for Holliday.

honestly i feel like Portland did pretty good.
Jrue is worth something if they move him, and personally i think Ayton has alot of talent and maybe just needed a change of scenery.

Really depends on Dame as he shifts into later part of his career.
i think with Dame they can more afford to move Middleton if they want.
Dame and Giannis if healthy is all the inside out punch you need.
