Digital Underground?s Shock G Dead At 57
Damn, this sucks. What a fucking legend - producer, band-leader, rapper, another different rapper, pianist, etc...
DU may have been the most underrated hip-hop group of all time.

I'd rather dwell in some dark holler where the sun refuses to shine, where the wild birds of heaven can't hear me when I whine.

Aw man, fuck that.

Highly recommend everyone check out Fear of a Mixed Planet, very underrated album.

But yeah, Sex Packets was in heavy rotation in my CD player when I was 14, it legit changed my life.

RIP.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Shit. The Humpty Dance us the only sing I'll do karaoke to.
Sex Packets was such a great album.

RIP
"I used to be 'with it', but then they changed what 'it' was and now what I'm with isn't 'it' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary to me"

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

Caravan2001

Blows....we used to hammer that album in high school

big bummer, Sex Packets has way too many good times associated with it.
bumped it all weekend.

I did too, along with Sons of the P, which also has some great jams.
