I'd probably be more likely to say that this "jamband" has less jam, but def not none.  I'm kind of glad.  IMO, 2000 and PH got a little jam oriented and everything had to be rocking and on fire with less emphasis on space.  I'm really enjoying the Stash jam from night 1.  It's a bit spaced out and not all up in my face, but still very enjoyable.

I enjoyed the Ghost>Piper>Birds for all it was worth from yesterday as well.  Sure it wasn't an hour and a half ling jam, but it was quite enjoyable to me.

Glad someone decided to -k me because they can't handle an opinion
that would differ from theirs.

Smiting means absolutely nothing.  And telling someone to suck your dick because you got a smite is real classy.

"There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese."          -Bobby Finstock

About a 7 min tube= weak sauce

I'm all for a long Tube, but they've been playing with some ferocity which compensates.
I respectfully disagree.
Seems like they are going through the motions.

Maybe an adjustment period?
Not a bad thing at all but they are not ferocious or on fire.
Theme, Harry, YEM, Wolfman's (not great?!), Weekapaug
All have been restrained and magnificent, a complicated art to perfect.

Someone's disillusioning themself.

No, really.  I enjoyed them all very much.

Funny would be applying super glue to your nuts and putting said nuts on her face.  Talk about "seeing the light" and remaining faithful to the indigo girls manifesto.

There's more airbrush on that shot than on a Peterbilt with a flame job.

I think we will need to give it some time before the monster jams reappear.  Let  :phish: get comfy again and things will grow out of these straight rocking versions.  Just like the early nineties, what followed were many years of jams that continually got better and better.

I agree. I don't think that these guys are quite ready to become a nostalgia act just yet...
