The new season was finally added to Hulu and we watched this episode tonight. Pretty funny watching Steve take on the Nitrous Mafia. Lot's of references that the wife had to have explained to her.

When Jeff said "If I sell 10 Grilled Cheeses I can buy a ticket for the show tonight" Dagny was like, "That's what you said you did in the 90's!". She wasn't wrong, but she forgot that I sold hemp necklaces too.

haha i found this on a streaming site a few months ago.  So many references.  The episode felt a little forced, and perhaps its just a wear-down of the writer's creativity, but i enjoyed it.  Jeff talking to the wall about Col. Forbin had me dying

oh i was meaning the American Day part of the story, not the Phish references.  The Phish stuff was awesome haha.  Like as an American Dad episode, I guess it felt like those late-era Family Guy seasons where they just didn't have the magic.  Think 2011 Phish.
