You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I'll update post #1 with the true setlist in the morning.  Right now I need to go to bed!

I think there was a concerted effort to make it less of a fan film and more of a commercial product
it was heavy on the Stones
I would have picked some different Exile moments

some great jams to be sure, but seemed to stay away from the Fluffs and such

I really liked the large acoustic section
that called for a closer examination that you got in spades in this film
glad they didn't toss in Bouncing, though I'm not Bouncing hater like many I know

YEM would not be allowed b/c like I said, they seemed to want to keep this as commercial as possible... no prolonged wierdness allowed

I appreciate there were no actual interviews, just some interesting fly on the wall backstage stuff and some nice shots of the festi itself, which was a nice reminder of the fun I had

overall, a solid effort, and to my mind, the best example of seeing them play, but not necessarilhy the best document of them musically if that makes any sense

I'm going again

Uh Oh-  I was afraid there would be to much jumping around.  This guy definitely makes me nervous.

That guy is an idiot.

This was a rock concert film. Lotta angles. Lotta rock.

I wouldn't say it was "heavy on the stones". There were four Stones songs. There were also four acoustic songs. or was it five? No. Six. They were great.
Torn And Frayed was the song missing from post one. So is Tweezer!!! (before Maze.)
There were no interviews but there were a couple of bits of backstage rehearsal. Very cool.

Nice 3D production. All depth of field and no gimmicky in your face crap.

The lights looked cool in 3d.

Totally worth the $$ and effort.

they showed Torn And Frayed?

Sweet!  I hope they show it all.  That was the song that I realized they were able to get back to that great place.  They obviously rehearsed it and practiced it, but they took it to a great place.

Can't wait for next Friday!!
