I think they thought that simultaneous-leg-recross thing was going to go over a lot funnier than it did.
Still, I like to think back to that time. I wasn't a phan yet (probably bad-mouthed the tour and anybody who attended*), but it's neat to watch this and get a retaste of the zeitgeist, nonetheless.

* But nowadays I get excited watching a BATR from the tour, so don't pay me any mind.
