I dunno man, seems weird, mid July to Dicks is a really long gap.

Retail Cannabis stores open in Ontario in April, so Phish in June makes sense.

I'm in for Sunday night. I'll do Saturday if I can find some cheap tickets beforehand
nothing about public sale dates for Fenway on Verified phan site, TM, or LN.
I'm thinking I might do better with public sale than the lottery, depending on when the sale is - thoughts?

can't beat the tuesday/wednesday midwest love on this tour! going to be easy tickets for st. louis, toronto, and blossom. alpine wouldn't be my first choice for a 3 night run, but we'll make it work! also, i'm really intrigued by the fenway>mohegan sun run. might have to book a flight. do the new england paugers have a plan in the works for these?

Seriously though, I live a little over an hour away from Mohegan and a half hour from Fenway. I may need to send the wife and kids away for a few days and open the house up...

Yeah, I guess I got spoiled by 1.0 and 2.0. Indiana was a lock for every summer tour back then. From '93-'04 (minus '01 & '02), they played here every year.
I would even be willing to make one of the drives this year, except my co-woker is pregnant and once she has the baby (due in the end on May), I'll be working both of our jobs and pulling 60-70 hour work weeks until her maternity leave ends. It would be tough for me to take off weekdays for the MO or OH shows. And I just plain don't want to go to Bonnaroo.

However, as much as I think St Louis is a great city with plenty to see and do, tour openers with this band anymore are a huge gamble in terms of quality of the music played. If these were the 10th and 11th shows of the tour, then sure, I can see it, but not the openers. I understand his trepidation from that standpoint.

I remember the closer you got to the stage, the more of a mudfest it was. It had been raining couple of days before and I don't think they had finished laying down new sod. The logistics of that place and how it is set-up is a dumpster fire. It was impossible to move during set break. Hot mess walking out of there too. A bunch of us walking out said that we hoped they would never come back to this venue again.

Go to put in for the Bangor shows and there is no option to select GA lawn? I have to select Best Available? Don't want pit. Don't want reserved seating. Dumb.
Agreed.
It's gonna be a shit show on the 25th.
Was the lawn bigger when they played the venue a few years ago?
It was just all lawn. No seats.
OK, that's what I thought, but I couldn't quite remember. I may have left some brain cells out on the Jaunt Cruise...
I remember hanging way back with :sbw: and having no interest in getting close. I guess that could apply to a lot of shows...

Yeah I remember the mudfest. Also that one gate in the back corner was pretty much the only entrance/exit and it took a while.
My wife went to Jack Johnson in the Summer of 2017 and had pavilion seating. She said there's a GA pit in front of stage and a few thousand seats between that and the lawn at the back.
I've seen those guys' faces enough times, I prefer to take in the light show and dance my ass off on the lawn. No roof over the pav either so if it rains, they're getting wet too.

I got Turf A7 for Fenway night 1 for mail order. Nothing for night 2. I'll probably be at SPAC as well.

Because if you win you have a cooler looking ticket and if you lose you just have an overpriced cooler looking ticket.
Struck out this lotto. To the on-sale with the great unwashed. Also did anyone see the "Ticketmaster verified fan" on-sale? For the couple shows I checked they have the same on-sale time as regular people.... So tell me again why they want us to sign up?
Verified fan is suppose to be an allotment of better seats
And of course everyone who signed up is on the waiting list to be added because they couldn't handle the influx lol. What a joke.
So the crew is planning on doing MPP for the first time as the SPAC>Fenway run doesn't work due to prior obligations. Where should we stay? Looks like Baltimore is 20-30 minute cab away but have absolutely no experience in the tri-city area as an adult.

So I did a similar process for Rolling Stones a month or two ago and had great success. I received my verified fan code a few hours ago. I think it was based on Ticketmaster spend or something because all my friends who have bought tickets through TM recently got codes but those with new TM accounts did not.
So when I aim for lawns on Saturday, the "Ticketmaster verified fan" is worth a mound of shit.

Look around Columbia md. The Sheraton really is the fucking party walking distance and all day pool parties during the day. But it's def sold out by now. It's going to be a short ride but Uber's to Baltimore after the show are going to be like 120-180 bucks on Saturday, With the demand. It'll be like 30-40 to get around Columbia and there is like two hotels in the area that are near some bars and such for after the show. Look up pub dog pizza in Columbia and there is like an extended stay I think or a courtyard right behind that strip mall it's in. Those are affordable too. There's another hotel down the road from Merriweather if there are still spots, I think it's a double tree. If you have a car you can always drive into bmore (or DC) during the day.
Fuck this Verified shit. That was onsale Fyre Fest level debacle. ISO here I come.
bout to jump into the fire for blossom tickets. verfied and all that stuff. but it's through livenation, not TM. let's see how much different it is than yesterday.

For the group, of course
yeah flights arent that bad from Denver either...I was looking at coming in a day early too for the festivities.
Before I commit space, I need to figure out my plan with the family. The last Jauntee sleepover (granted, it was a school night) did not go as well as planned in my wife's mind. For whatever reason, I'm hoping to remain married despite whatever tour plans materialize...
My house is open to those who want to stay. I can not commit to picking anyone up at this point but there is a commuter rail just down the road if all else fails. If there's enough interest we can look into getting some sort of ride arranged to and from Fenway.
Also I'm in for the booze and drugs.
See y'all in St. Louis, both nights :)

I'm quite certain there is interest - we just need to figure out the numbers vs. the cost so we can do this. We may find ourselves sharing an airport van with Carl Weathers... we'll invite him over to get a stew going!
I'll probably book a flight this weekend if all goes well on Friday. I'll try and coordinate a little with Jeff before hand so we can hopefully arrive close-ish to each other.

wife is in now too. need 2 for each night.
I'm telling all of my non-paug friends and family to try to get turf seats, and I'd suggest the same for all of you. If they fail, I may need a few of the tix I got today, but I suspect a few of mine will be up for grabs. We should have more clarity tomorrow afternoon, only to lose all clarity at Holmes the Younger's 40th bday party tomorrow night.

I may need a pair for Friday
We have tons of Fenway extras amongst us. There will be some shuffling amongst the folks who bought all the tickets before we know what seats are available. I think March 1st we will know and open those up to the choice few paugers we like (GBL and SLS, for sure)

So I scored in the lotto and have 4 currently as well. My baby cousin has a physical handicap that doesn't bode well with large, rambunctious crowds so if we are able to secure some seats that are more accommodating for her then my 4 are also available for people I like....definitely not Gavin. fuck that guy.

Evidence would support that, but the part of Camden I love is under that shed. I've seen some good shows there and I think the first 3 night run smack dab in the middle of this tour is going to be good one.
i've never been. what is the appeal?
I saw 8-12-04 there. Definitely a unique experience with the Philly skyline across the river.
And, the show I saw there, at the time the "last regular show ever", had a special vibe.
I know a TON of people going to Camden. I'm just not one of them.
It's a massive, ordinary shed with a view of a great city. They've played more than a couple classic shows there too.

Panic at Red Rocks was the first show my eldest daughter went to...aged 6 months.
Not really my favorite band either, but any show at that venue is better than most at others, at least for this CO lover.

Thinking the same thing, although SPAC was of a higher quality than the MA or CT shows to be fair. The jams have faded a bit, setlists are getting more micro oriented. From a technical standpoint, Trey has not faded in facility on the instrument, but the ideas have dried up it seems to me.
Before I get whacked for that statement, I want to say I absolutely believe this is Trey's best tour of 3.0. He is playing better than he did during BD, and Summer 2015. I realize he can't do a GOTF before every Phish tour, but whatever he did to prepare for this summer, he needs to rinse and repeat that from now until eternity. It has been so good to have him back.
I really think treys tone has been at its peak of 3.0 this tour. The GOTF has caused a shift in some of his playing that is hitting a new level of space that I really enjoy.

Plenty of nice playing this tour, but there's not much here that's thrilling me the way so much of fall '18 did.
What jams there are seem very summery. Light and groovy without a lot of depth.
