No encore due to a bottle being thrown at the drummers during Comes A Time

wasn't nearly as well played as the 80 or 81 shows, but still enjoyed it. Ship of Fools onward was good. GDFRB jam was a highlight. So was Comes a Time (nice surprise). Lisa's 1st GD show, my 1st Truckin.

Who throws a bottle at the drummers, let alone during Comes A Time.  SMH....

I mean throwing a bottle at Bobbys jorts I can understand, but at the drummers? Cmon man.
Some1 musta lost their shit in space and Comes a Time just wasnt the tune to bring them outta it...   i'm curious, was this the last time they played Providence?

87 is the last time.

Dude - now I'm watching this for the next two hours. Thanks, Obama.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Wait, did they announce that there would be no encore?  How do we know this information?

That is a good version.  Some of the second set sounds pretty good too.  Going to listen to actual recording today.  From my buddy that went, he said one of the 3 shows of this run is super good, gonna run through them.  I didn't go but went to a couple of the MSG shows a week later and those were probably the best shows i ever saw (even though Spring 90 was close).

Gumbo72203

Threw on Shoreline '89 the past couple nights (6/21/89) and it's funny seeing Bobby kicking his amp stack from the static!

I was really impressed with the Box of Rain though, Jerry and Phil sound exceptional on their instruments.  The mix is great, the interplay between the kick drums and Phil's bass is just wonderful.  Jerry is spot on with the melody licks too.  Really, really nice version.  The Dire Wolf that follows is pretty hot as well!

Obligatory ?I was at that show?

I was side stage lower bowl, looking over Vince at Jerry and the teleprompter.

Magical night. Great Ramble On Rose, Iko Iko and Playin meltdown at that show too.
