I loved the serial killer one...that was amazing at the end with the fridge! Frank is one fucked up muthah, the chainsaw and all.

Oh and also - phish reunion hope: Dayman->Suzy Greenberg>Nightman opener :-P

Quite possibly my favorite show on TV

"Night man, ruler of the day man, master of karate and friendships.."

The invincible episode is my favorite of the new season.

I guess you can jump right in, but it would be more enjoyable if you get all caught up first.

Yeah, the bathroom scene was the only thing that kept me from changing the channel.
So I watched the episode again, and its still pretty funny.  The exchange near the end of episode is classic sunny.  Dennis gives the perfect "wtf?" face when he hears Charlie mention the bathroom incident.

on a general note:
The dialogue is crude, but it is extremely well written in that it matches the characters perfectly.  I love how narcissistic the characters are and at the same time how they have no sense of morality or decency.

It's kind of like family guy, only with real people instead of cartoons, and all of the characters are Peter.

HUGE fan of this show, but I feel that it has gone downhill since they hired a team of writers and quit writing the episodes themselves.  I can't say if this was a bad move, as they could have been running out of their own creative gas.  Either way, it's my favorite show on TV (other than soundstage).

I just figured it out.  I couldn't figure out what I know Rob McElhenney from(he plays Mac).  There's nothing else in his resume I've seen him in, but I know his face.  Turns out, he's actually a center from the Dallas Stars...

You have to read the lyrics to each of the songs in the rock opera.  I missed so many of the hilarious lines because of the obvious ones, it has such subtle brilliance to it.  source (http://subrevolt.com/blog/lyrics-from-the-nightman-cometh/)
QuoteBaby Boy
What is this strange feeling? I feel so strange inside!
Its so strange but appealing. I feel good!
Tiny boy, little boy, baby boy, I need you
Tiny boy, little boy, I want to touch you boy
If you only knew what I do to you, if I was that boy that's inside of you
Tiny boy, little boy, baby boy, I need you
Tiny boy, little boy, want to make love to you boy
If you only knew what I do to you, if I was that boy that's inside of you
QuoteTroll Toll
You gotta pay the troll toll, if you wanna get in that boy's hole
You gotta pay the troll toll to get in!
You want the baby boy's hole, you gotta pay the troll toll
You gotta pay the troll toll to get in!
Troll toll! What you say!
Troll toll! Hey hey hey!
Troll toll!
QuoteDay Man
Day man! Ahahaa!!
Fighter of the night man. Champion of the sun.
You're a master of karate and friendship for everyone!
QuoteCharlie's Plea
I was that little boy, that little baby boy was me.
I once was a boy, but now I am a man!
I fought the nightman, lived as dayman
Now I'm here to ask for your hand
So if you want to marry man, will you marry me
well come on stage and join me!
In this thing callled matrimony!
please say yes and do not bone me
please just marry meee!
QuoteAnd, while this was not in the musical, the original song by Charlie, Night Man:
night man, sneaky and mean
?something? inside my dreams
i think i love you
you make me wanna cry, you make me wanna die
i love you i love you i love you i love you i love you night man

every night you come into my room and pin me down with your strong arms you pin me down and i try to fight you you come inside me you fill me up and i become the night man

ust two men sharing the night
It might seem wrong but it's just right
It's just two men sharing each other
It's just two men like loving brothers
One on top, and one on bottom
One inside, and one is out
One is screaming he's so happy
The other's screaming a passionate shout
It's the Night Man
The feeling so wrong it's right man
the feeling so wrong...
I can't fight you man when you come inside me and pin me down your strong hands and I'll become the Night....the passionate, passionate Night Man.

They took you Night Man
and you don't belong to them
They left me in a world of darkness
without your sexy hands
and I miss you Night Man
so bad.

I just got done with season one - checked it out from the library.  Hilarious.

I subsequently found out that none of the video stores in my town carry it.  Also hilarious.

There were some really funny parts to that last night.  That bible quote was great.

Also, the fact that Frank thought he would have to be the woman for real had me rolling!

I'm psyched. I just got into this show a couple of months ago after being told for years how awesome it was.

Mac went to my "rival" HS and I remember being at parties with him. I told my buddy who graduated with him we should invite him to Camden this summer. I'm still waiting to hear back on that one.
