As far as whether or not I got banz0red, Hicks was right, I banned myself.  I felt particularly douchey for ruining the thread about 09 versus 03 especially since I was trying desperately hard not to ruin the thread.

I had tried the apology route, I had tried the explanation route so I figured I should try the "take a break and come back" approach.  I felt particularly upset because I got a sense that quite a few people here thought I was "worthless" and "not worth recognizing as a peer" and that just plain made me sad and pissed me off.  There was no way I was hanging out with that hanging over my head.

I don't really know how long I was gone, but there was a pm here waiting for me from WTU asking if I was ok, which was really nice.  I guess at least one person missed me:)
