You're entitled to your opinion but I'm going to laugh at it.

I like the Jelly Belly analogy for this album. Some Jelly Belly flavors are delicious on their own, some taste like soap. This album is like grabbing a random handful, just throwing it all in your mouth, and finding out that the combination is delicious in a way you never would have expected.

Bertie Bott's every flavor beans?

Go ahead - nerd out!!

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I'm listening to the Mexico run this morning and it made me think of the songs that aren't on this album. If the current situation goes on long enough I could see them putting out another album of songs recorded for, but not on, Sigma Oasis. A 'B-sides and Outtakes' album. They should call it "Soul Sides" since it would most likely have Soul Planet and Set Your Soul Free on it.

I like it
agree, the production is great.

It's not Rift, but we are all different people than we were in the early 90s.

"It's a 106 miles to Chicago. We got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."

I'll take an album that's just a 50-minute Soul Planet.
Is this still Wombat?

The title track is pretty stuck in the head.

Strangely A Life Beyond The Dream is the earworm for me.

Pitchfork guy liked it, but would never dare give it over a 7.

I love these Pitchfork reviews and their commitment to baseline hate.

"This record is surprisingly good considering how trash this band is on everything they put out."

Any word on a vinyl release of this?
