I know this is old news but my dad sent it to me today as a pick me up and it reminded me how freakin' awesome it is.

Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

I'd rather dwell in some dark holler where the sun refuses to shine, where the wild birds of heaven can't hear me when I whine.

Fuck yeah! I love Earthless.

I'd never of these guys before.  Listened to most of the album with a cigar last night.  Not really too heavy but heavily focused on mood.  It was very interesting.  I'll definitely need to give it another spin.  Thanks for the recommendation.

TOOL released Opiate2 today! It's a 10 minute re-recording of Opiate, featuring the stuff they've been doing with it live the last few decades. It's pretty fuckin' stellar!! There's a Blu-Ray coming out in a few weeks of the accompanying video.

It's not on Youtube to link, but it's on all the streaming services. I just finished my 2nd run through on Amazon Music.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

Did you buy the $810 $750 Fear Inoculum vinyl they have?

I think i read that they're repressing Opiate too!

No, the $810 $750 version is a signed edition they are selling on tour. I did custy up for the non-signed version, a 5LP set for $160.

The Opiate 'repress' is actually a Blu-Ray of the song released today. I used some of my Zia Records points to get it for 50% off, so that only cost me $12.50!

Just watched that last night.  Very awesome.  He doesn't nail the spider chord like Dave does, though.  Talk about nit-picky.
