whoahhhhhhhh dude.  Tela.  Wow.  That looks serious.  Thats one of the few setlists where that total absence of 2nd set meat is perfectly okay.

had Lifeboy been played yet?

nope, first lifeboy.... any word if the Tela ending was nailed?

sounded good here, no tmwsiy though.

I think Sand and GBOTT provided some serious meat to the 2nd set

Yeah but thats the beginning of the set.  Lifeboy, Velveeta, HYHU, Boogie On is kinda weak for the bulk of a 2nd set....  but the rest of the show makes that okay.  I'm sure it felt good.

I wonder how long it has been since both Tela and Lifeboy were played in the same show...12/30 shows are always the rage
Dysfunction and itemized lists of people's failures are where it's at.

Caravan2001

Boogie on sounded insane on the stream...can;t wait to hear it!

WhatstheUse?

So this GBOTT was extended, spacey and earfully-delicious, no?

The sharts can be deceiving...
Bring in the dude!

But GBOTT was in between two of those songs you listed, G. It's not just about what they play, it's when they play it.

Velvet Sea can be pretty anthemic and cathartic at times. Boogie is a dance number. Lifeboy is just awesome.

well... i know what the monkey said, and im sure some crazy fool is going to say that he was right...

but despite the "bustdowns," and without having listened, im still inclined to think that its no 12/30/97.
of course not. it's 2009.  things are different.  it's definitely not 1997 anymore.  but, things are gonna be okay.  they sound different.  not 1997.

I'm glad you're here to say it, RJ, because when I explain it, I just get..
