I use chrome and have seen no such thing...
more than likely it's because chrome sometimes will force https.

Anyone else getting a "not secure" notice about the site from Chrome?

Probably gonna have to buckle down and get a cert for the site and swing it over to https
do you mean a legit SSL cert? Or a self signed version? The real ones are expensive, right?

FUCK YEAH TREY. FUCK YEAH

Yes we would actually need to get a cert at some point. I'll see what is possible - probably not a bad idea.

OK I think I just turned on https successfully - let me know if you have issues. Or more likely, you'll have to tweet @week4paug or report on Facebook, since I will have broken everything here.

Has it always been "not secure"? I think what caught my eye yesterday was Chrome was giving me this alert (it's in the URL bar) in red text with the red ! triangle. But on other pages here I'm seeing a less scary, less visible gray version. Right now I'm seeing both versions so maybe it's a Chrome thing. Sorry if this ain't anything new.

Chrome started indicating ALL http, non-HTTPS sites as Not Secure a while back.

Seems odd but in the dev tools this is the message about why it has 'Not Secure'

"Mixed Content: The page at 'https://week4paug.net/index.php?topic=18331.msg851802#new' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://week4paug.net/~week4pau/logo.gif'. This content should also be served over HTTPS."

Where's the logo image hosted or stored?

Is anyone else recently seeing posts where (double) quotation marks are replaced with question marks? I can first remember seeing it here, but I'm now seeing this in other places (e.g. Gmail) as well, so maybe it's not a paug issue per se.

The site used to "size" pictures to look normal on the screen - look at this post I just made. The picture is posted "actual size" so it's impossible to see within the browser window. Did something change?
