Have fun y'all!  I'm still wrestling with making New Years happen.  Just spent $2400 for four flights to NYC in October and need to do it again in December.  These dates don't fit into my reality.  That said, if I was going anywhere it would be SC for sure.

I'm close enough to Providence that I'll probably drive home both nights. I also seem to have reserved a room at the same hotel as  :sbw: right by Nassau. I have not broken the news to my wife yet. This is an appropriate time for thoughts and prayers...

I had previously been given the impression that we would be in NYC celebrating Piper's 16th the weekend after Thanksgiving (her Bday is 12/1). This would not work with me seeing any shows. Also it'd suck ass to be staying in Brooklyn with Phish playing at Nassau and to not be able to go.

HOWEVER

I've learned that the family NYC trip might be shifted earlier or later...

This opens possibilities.

But... if I don't make any of these, I'll be at New Year's.

good deal. tickets were 270 after fees.
honestly the cheaper one in downtown Charleston would be great. That Embassy Suites is next to the venue but its also middle of nowhere N Charleston, more sites and stuff to do at the downtown option, with the free shuttle to the shows back and forth!
