Boo.

Go listen to a record first.

No, I try to always get a first impression of a band via the live show...

Oh! That! No, no, no, you're not ready to step into The Court of the Crimson King. At this stage in your training an album like that could turn you into an evil scientist.

Well, perhaps that was a bad clip for you... it was a rather random bit in between asongs and not a common part of the show.
Go watch some other youtubes.

That's what turned me off to Modest Mouse, haven't listened to them since.
Just got up off the couch to drop a deuce while the band belts out Fuckerpants.

I hadn't realized that these guys are the indie-folk ZZ Top.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Yeah, I taped the MM show here in Raleigh a few years ago...  I may have been the worst show I ever saw, except maybe the SpinDoctors...

Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) & Megafaun will be playing together at SXSW as Deyarmond Edison. that's the group they were all in together before Vernon went into the woods and came out as Bon Iver & Brad, Phil & Joe became Megafaun in the Carolinas...

Very cool.

Wish i could see/hear it.

RSVP'd - hope to make it. Thanks, RJ. I'm only going because I know how much you love these guys.
