Finally got tickets squared away through CoT.

This will be my first Phish since Vegas 2018. Which feels outrageously long. I'm a little bit excited.

Hmm. Tahoe's looking real smokey. The whole forest surrounding the lake is now closed to visitors because of the nearing fire, as is Hwy 50, one of the two main roads to get there. I'm going to be very sad if my first Phish show in 3 years is called off... but I'm not going to be surprised.

Yeah... It's not looking good.

Over/under on these shows actually happening...
15% happening/85% not happening.

They could reschedule the week before fall tour, presumably. Tahoe's lovely in october, so long as it's not on fire.

Yeah the Tues/Wed before Sacramento would be perfect.
ETA: looks like resorts/campgrounds/trails/lake/etc are closed through Labor Day.

Show basically can't happen the way things are going. Local authorities are probably too busy to order a concert canceled.

It looks bad. I doubt south lake Tahoe is in any danger of burning up, but given the size and location of the fire, there would have to be some pretty amazing and unlikely wind patterns for all the smoke to blow anywhere but right over Tahoe.

This sounds great. Santa Barbara, Tahoe, The Forum. All venues I have never graced.

Quote5 nights dicks run!  So many dicks!!
It looks like Dicks is hosting Weezer and Green Day tomorrow night and then nothing until Phish. It's a (very small) possibility!

They just cancelled the shows they had scheduled for the 27th and 28th. Does not bode well.  :-\

Someone above suggested moving the shows to October... Apparently the snow begins in October up there?
Might be a bit chilly for an outdoor gig.

There will be no snow in early october. If there's skiing at Thanksgiving, it's a banner year for snow. But come to think of it, it might get pretty cold by then. I guess standing outside in mid 50s temps or so might be pushing it. Sigh. I just want me some Tahoe Phish. Is that so much to ask of this lousy world?
