I am trying to attend at least one show each week right now,  before another version of the virus fucks everything up again.

Nice - I love this band so damned much.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Me and my wife's favorite night of the year, which we missed out on the last two years because of Covid.  Oddly enough a whole show without a single tune from Sgt. Pepper's or Abbey Road, but there's so much material to pull from, you hardly notice.

That's funny... I've only actually seen them once - and they played the entire B Side of Abbey Road. They nailed it!

Just booked a ticket for John Cale in London on November 9. Fingers crossed. Could be an epic week for music for me. Got a ticket for Porcupine Tree in Amsterdam on November 7.

I think the last time I saw them was 2005.

They cancelled  :-\

Saw that the other day. Sucks. We saw caught two shows on their comeback run recently and they fucking killed it. No rust. All heavy psych rock jamming.

I listened to that run and they indeed killed it.
I guess I'll just have to keep a look out for their next mini tour.

My dad just texted me to say he bought tickets for him and I to see Ravi Coltrane at Koerner Hall in TO.
I hear he's doing a tribute to his parents this tour so I'm really looking forward to it.

Man, I saw Ravi at Bonnaroo one time - the year they had a "Blue Note Tent." It was a fully enclosed tent set up with tables like a New York jazz club. It was amazing.
