first ep was free on cable.
i enjoyed it.

It does seem to be missing a little something.  I can't quite put my finger on it.  But we're still totally digging it.

It's missing the 'Twincest'... regular incest just doesn't cut it anymore. 

It's missing anyone like Tyrion. It's missing humor. And the way it's leaping through time it feels like a sort of bird's eye overview of a story, without ever getting down into the thick of it.

That's sort of inline with the book Fire and Blood. They definitely do that in the book, I'm expecting a pretty serious time jump in the next couple of episodes. Also, the book has a humorous, and often wrong, narrator. If they had used that the show would have a different feel, but it would have a more Tyrion-like humor to it.
