oh, and yesterday my baggage went to the wrong airport. Just got it back about a half hour ago. And I was asked to leave my hotel this morning because they thought I was just some kook hanging out in the cafe :?

I was going to get it during the sale-a-thon. But that ended today and I wanted to come to NYC so I put it off

it was funny this morning though. I went into the cafe and made a cup of coffee and walked over to a couch to sit down and read the paper. This guy from the front desk walks in and asks if he can help me with anything. I thought he was just being helpful and I said no, I'm fine. I went to reach for the paper and he says.. no.. Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave.. this is a private establishment.

I told him yeah, I know.. Im staying here. His face got all red and he apologized a bunch and walked away. Now they all seem extra nice when I go through the lobby :lol: :lol:

someone said I should have acted all offended to try to get a free room or a discount. But I can understand he was just doing his job. And I was wearing a pair of sweats and a kinda wrinkled shirt because I had no other clothes. And at least I know that they do keep an eye on things here
