Dysfunction and itemized lists of people's failures are where it's at.

A local band gone big, Houndmouth, are releasing their second album in March. They just posted a video of one of the new songs.

I posted about them two years ago when their first album on Rough Trade Records came out. Katie, the keyboard player, is HOT AS HELL!! (and she has an amazing voice taboot)

And here's another one of the new songs this one sounds very Dylan-esque.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

Last night on the Late Late show, Bobby returned to the stage looking and sounding well.
John Mayer & co. backed him on Truckin' and Althea.

Truckin'

Althea

Mayer's drummer is a bit too much of a pounder on Truckin' for my taste and Mayer's tone seems a bit thin on Althea but, altogether, It's cool by me.
Good to see Bobby out there.

Who's mail order envelope is popping out of Bob's pocket?

That's one that Mayer handed him in the interview segment. Says he decorated it himself the night before (too late!)

Seen bits of this over the years on YouTube, but today stumbled on what appears to be a full hour video of Stanley Jordan and Chet Atkins. Jordan's alone doing his guitar gymnastics for the first 24 minutes or so, then Atkins comes out with his whole band and they get to cookin'. Serious business here -- some real Elder Statesman shit.

ETA: I guess there's only three songs where they're both onstage, damn. Heat's on at 24 minutes.
