i am lacking the motivation for these shows also.  I haven't even looked into the tour at all.  Don't know where they are playing... hot much it is... just not interested.  Which is sad because I remember I used to be pumped to see Phil & Friends.  If they were playing Pittsburgh I would check it out
The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over. - Hunter S. Thompson

*pssst. just a little secret, they jam more than Phish do nowadays. that's if you're interested in that sort of thing. and they don't play TTE. and the guitar player is not relearning how to play his instrument while performing in front of thousands of paying fans

I think I might be one of the few people that is really psyched about this project.  I"m looking at catching 4-5 of their shows in this upcoming tour.

tix will have to wait until after xmas...

will Hampton even sell out?
I don't seem them having a crowd of 12,500.  They just seems like they booked too big a venue to me.

I think they're doing the "cut the arena in half" thing for this show.

if this is true then I scored some nice seats.  Sect. t row 3

I'm not sure if I followed this thread correctly, but what guys are saying is that Dave Thomas sold crack in inner-city DC in the mid-80's, right?

I'm psyched, I think they sound good as well. Lest we forget, those Oakland shows were only the first shows. Not bad, when one takes that into consideration. I would love to catch a bunch of shows.....if I could

Why the hell is Weir singing Jerry tunes?  Isn't the point of having fake Jerry so fake Jerry can do the Jerry parts?  The fucking narcissism of Bob Weir is unbelievable.  Step aside Bobo and let fake Jerry do his thing.
