Bonnaroo 2009 was easily the worst festival I've attended and this years lineup blows.

Eminem, Arcade Fire, WSP, LOL.

Have you ever seen Arcade Fire?

They fucking rule.

In any event, the line up looks sick to me.

I have not seen them, but I do not like their music.

I guarantee that they would melt your face if you saw them.

I can't say you're wrong, but in general, I'm finding myself more and more un-interested in seeing bands that do not contain improvisational aspects in their music.

you're quitting Phish too?

HAYO!
The level of Irony here is hilarious.  Arcade Fire is a brilliant band.  Sometimes Scotty it's not all about being lost in a crunchy jam.
Can we talk about the Dead?  I'd love to talk about the fucking Grateful Dead, for once, can we please discuss the Grateful FUCKING Dead!?!?!?!

Summary of thread:

Brilliant music discussion everyone!

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.

I saw them at Vegoose. They were amazing.

Perfect example of an energy feedback loop.

I was waiting for this.
WTU, Arcade Fire are the shit and would blow your mind live.  I would reserve judgement until you've caught one of their concerts.
Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

WhatstheUse?

I am familiar with both Funeral and Neon Bible.  I've attempted to give Arcade Fire a chance multiple times because I keep hearing good things. They don't do it for me.

Total meh.
Bring in the dude!

I'll bitcxh... I've not made it to a single Bonnaroo, and it's only 2 states south of me. Although, I've never been uber stoked by any line-up yet. And Bonnaroo started before my balls were kept securely in a fest-proof purse.

If I lived close I def. would have hit the year Radiohead headlined.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.
