itunes replacement

i wont go into it and i'm not sure myself why,but i am unable to install itunes on my laptop.i had it but when i upgraded to ver 10 it just went down hill and eventually i deleted it and now am not able to reinstall it.any way me and my ipod miss it and would like to know a good program to use to replace it.if it matters i do not have a mac either.  thanks in advance

In XP you go to Control Panel>Add and Remove Programs and highlight iTunes if there and click Remove.  If not there may be registry changes not allowing you to reinstall.  You could use an uninstaller program (maybe Revo Uninstaller) that will return your registry keys to "normal".

But I'm not sure, I just found this in a general search.
