I loved that closing shot.
The walker in the field smelled rank like prime foreshadowing.

Phil, I hear you but Kirkman has said that we need to let go of the plot expectations built on reading the books. Things simply will not be going down in the same way.


Other things I liked:
Rick talking about the coming Winter. It's crazy that it's not Winter yet. But that's good.

How Andrea called out Lori for her sexist, gender-role, bullshit.

And really, finally, some good action.

While i agree that Lori's gender-role speech was BS, I think Andrea is a friggin' nut. We've already got Shane as the gung-ho nut. Do we need a female version? Bitch learns how to shoot and all of a sudden she's a hard ass Annie Oakley.

True, it just bugs me that they devote so much time in the show to making him such a loathsome character only to have him make nice in the end. I want this prick to get what he deserves.

The wife and I caught up on the last two weeks last night, some good shit went down. I'm not really gonna miss Dale, and I'm still waiting for Shane to go. The second half of this season is much better that he first half.
