Check out this fan-made 8-bit platformer based on Game Of Thrones, the chip tunes theme song is worth the watch alone.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

Finally starting this whole series and I gotta say, I don't see what the hype is about.  Although, I'm now 3 episodes into the first season and things are finally starting to pick up.  We'll see how it goes.  I really want to like this show.

STFU Neely until you finish season one.

Or maybe try reading a book?

VDB

I would think the first three episodes worth of Emilia Clarke alone would be enough to hook a person.

read the fucking book

but the shows do take some time to get going. There are a lot of characters and things to get caught up on and understand before the story takes off.

meh.

Nothing I've seen so far would entice me to pick up the books.  Seems like alot of gratuitous sex scenes with unattractive women.

ETA: But like I said, things are picking up.  I guess since there are only what, 10 episodes in the season, I expected the pace to be fast and furious.  Instead, there has been alot of plot development.

Perhaps you should consider taking the advice of a number of your friends?

If you make it to episode 7-8 and still don't like it, keep watching.  I think season 3 was the best so far.
The events in our lives happen in a sequence in time, but in their significance to ourselves they find their own order; the continuous thread of revelation.

Not sure about spoilers, but was fun to watch imo

I watched that the other night before True Detective.  It got me pretty pumped for the new season.
