21 years ago... Perhaps the greatest encore I ever witnessed. The band encored with Highway to Hell... Left the stage... Crowd was so loud the band actually came back out for a second encore... Which started with an Oom pah pah.  Fuck yes!

Sunday, 10/16/1994
Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium, Chattanooga, TN

Set 1: Rift, Horn, Foam, Fee > Split Open and Melt, The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday > Avenu Malkenu > The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday, Axilla > Possum

Set 2: The Landlady > Poor Heart, Julius, Fluffhead > Big Ball Jam, Run Like an Antelope, Dog Faced Boy, Sweet Adeline, Sample in a Jar

Encore: Highway to Hell

Encore 2: Harpua

Notes: Trey sang the verses of Fee through a megaphone. Dog Faced Boy was acoustic and was, along with Sweet Adeline, performed without microphones. Before Dog Faced Boy, Trey introduced Fish for a "balloon and emotion solo...that will reach into your soul and rip your heart out of your body." Harpua included a Flash Light  jam and told of Jimmy attending a Bootsy Collins concert.

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Damn PG, only perhaps? What are the other encores up for consideration?

The triumphant Johnny B. Goode from NYE 95 and the My Generation from Halloween 95 both come to mind.

I agree, the energy was off the charts for those first 2 but I was kind of annoyed by the end of the next night. I think I started for the exit when I heard the opening notes. 4 Tweeprises in 2 nights, kaman!
Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

This - but then the two of us walked out during the Number Line that followed - but it's our song, so it's our prerogative!
