Wish I was coming in Wed to see him with Johnny v, June, and Ivan.

Over Under on # of GPJ's sets you catch is at 3, I'm taking the over.  :-D

At least 3 of the above sets. Definitely more with random sitins etc.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go

Word. My first ever. Any special way to have this thing prepared.

I just add some hot sauce...otherwise, you don't mess with perfection.

About midway through second weekend last year, as I had my tenth cochon, I decided to try it with cracklin on top. didn't take away from the glory, but totally unnecessary.

#309
my food list

Po Boys:
crabmeat
soft shell
cochon de lait
crawfish sausage
cajun duck

Others:
the holy trinity (Crawfish Sack, Oyster Patties, Crawfish Beignets)
mango freeze
rosemint iced tea
pheasant, quail & andouille gumbo
cracklins
boiled crawfish
fried plantains
boudin balls

Given that I start and end my fest experience with a cochon, that means 7 po boys...4 days...should be possible.

BTW, does everyone headed to Fest have my cell? I can send and receive text now!!

Yeah, pretty sure I did this as well, but it's not necessary.

The only thing that might possibly add to the glory that is the cochon, and heath can attest to this, is some steamed gulf shrimp. Doesn't sound like it'd make sense, but man oh man, would that be something.

Man, I wish you were coming 2nd weekend. You're gonna have a great time regardless, but after you get back, we'll start talking about next year, I'm fairly certain you'll be hooked.

In the meantime, looks like your saturday is gonna be tough around 3, with Irvin Mayfield, Walter Wiolfman Washington and 101 Runners playing at the same time, but maybe hit up the first two early, and head to 101 runners at the end, cause you're gonna wanna stick around there for Midnite Disturbers set right after fo sho! In between grab some grub right around the corner from that stage. Sunday you got a lot going on with dr john, t shorty, PGF, treme, ellis, big chief, I don't know what your end of day plans were but def check out some of tuba tuba as well...

The harder decision for me is the Carolina Chocolate Drops, whom I have never seen live, vs. Midnight Disturbers. That's tough.

Disturbers.

Carolina Chocolate Drops tour around, so even if you miss this, you can catch them later.
