Blasting through Mississippi as fast as possible. 5 hours out!!!!

Slow down! Don't wanna get caught speeding.  :-D
Haha as fast as LEGALLY possible. George Porter tonight!!

I may get a wild hair and head to maple leaf tonight. I don't get into Nola till midnight or so... Bt I'll be itching for music.

If you do, hit me up. We are planning on that, and possibly Benvento.
If we could see these many waves that flow through clouds and sunken caves...

He was just in studio at wwoz, and played a tune or two.

Also, yes, I fully expect PG at Maple Leaf.  :-D

3 weeks from right now I'll be waking up in NOLA and trying to convince myself to skip breakfast and just wait for the Cochon de Lait. It'll probably work.

It's totally working! Cochon here I come!
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

En route to the festival site. Redfish with mashed sweet potatoes and corn maux chox at Jaques-Imos, then George Porter Jr., Karl Denson, and Johnny Vidacovich blew our minds until 2:15 or so.
