Not a fan of the 29th or 30th at all. These 2 are duds in my book....

Last night had some potential that got utterly wasted by all 4 of em.....NONE of the "jams" went anywhere except to noize.....the song selection and placement couldda been better too....

Phish doesn't write beautiful music...the beautiful music happens after the written parts.

I listened to the second set this morning and liked the last 5 minutes of the Carini.
The modulations in both Disease and Carini are a little forced tho, with Trey fishing for notes.
I like that they are trying to stretch jams out, but I feel like the Dick's stuff was a little more polished and fluid sounding.

crashed early last night, been hit w/ a supposed swine flu strain(s3n2v) :-o  feeling better but the last few days have been rough on my wife and I.

listened to DwD on the way in to work this am. liked the jam, haven't heard Carini, sounds better then the 29th.  hoping tonight they let go.
