Really? Throwing stuff at Kim while he's not looking and trying to make a play in a tie ballgame?

You stay classy, Canada!

Given the way this year has been between these two teams, it's Fitting that this game is going into the 9th tied at 2.

What a game!

Indeed! Toronto has been holding us to 1 HR with those low pitches. Hope we hold em here! Let's take this to extra innings!!

Mr. Lahey threw a bottle of dark rum at the O's outfielder?

mattstick

Sorry guys. I won't throw anything else on the field.

mattstick

Wow. More like Zach Sitten (on the bench).

Sorry O's fam, that one probably stings.

DoW

congrats mattstick and sorry Os fans.
it was an entertaining game to watch.
I would have brought Britton in after the Donaldson double in the 9th so it wouldn't have mattered in the 11th anyway.

hoping the Mets find a way to get some runs tonight off bumgarner.

I've always been a Cubs fan first and foremost, but growing up so close to Dallas, I always loved the Rangers. I used to go to games all the time, and you used to could write the players, and the club would send you an autographed picture. I had SO many of those things.

Anyway, I'm psyched for this Rangers/Jays series, especially after last year.

Great Moments in Texas Rangers Team History:

Kudos to the Blue Jays Organization for the way they have handled this "situation". Frankly, I'm shocked there have been so many resources dedicated to finding this guy who threw the beer.

Very classy statement of apology as well.

Definitely stings....why they put Ubaldo in that situation to throw batting practice is beyond me. You've got the best closer in baseball on the bench. He's warmed up twice at that point. He's shown throughout the season that he is capable of going at least 2 innings. You don't put a guy who is ill prepared for that, in a hostile environment no less, and expect him to win. We'll never know why he made that move.

IMO, when the decision was made to have Tillman start, Bundy or Ubaldo should Not have been included on the roster. I would've much rather seen Worley, the guy who has carried this bullpen in the long distance spot all season.

Weird twist is that the beer tosser might be a sports writer...
