OK, 'paugers. Questions for anyone to ponder--

Imagine a collection of short instructional videos produced out of an independent restaurant kitchen. If that's at all interesting to you, what topics would you like to see covered?

I'm a retired chef, so I may not count as an average viewer.  However,  I think people need to know how to butcher meats and fish, make stocks, make a sauce from said meat/stock.
The events in our lives happen in a sequence in time, but in their significance to ourselves they find their own order; the continuous thread of revelation.

I was going to say something similar.  Starting with fundamentals and the basics of prep.  Also, highlighting common misconceptions on how things are done and showing how to do them more correctly.  I realize that "correct" can be or is subjective in some cases.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

I think everyone should start using "Behind," "Sharp," and "Corner!"

making stock does not sound that entertaining

that being said, it all comes down to editing, so if it can fit into a 20-30  second tik tak who knows?

If this is love, I'm never going home..

I love watching cooking videos even though I don't really cook myself - I find them soothing.  Like GBL said, it's all about the editing and fitting as much content as you can into 30 seconds or a minute.  Here's some page's I follow... the first guy actually reminds me a bit of you!

Amen. I say "Behind you" out in public all the time. What are you doing for work these days? And when did you hang up your apron?

Sounds like my wife and I at home making dinner, you can leave restaurant life but it never really leaves you

as for video topics, kitchen organization would be cool to see covered. I feel like where you keep certain things/supplies/tools/etc can make all the difference in how smoothly you can work in your kitchen
