my girlfriend works for the company that sent these people on this uganda gorilla trek.  that silverback could have snapped that dude's neck in about a second.  what an experience, but i would have been more than a little nervous...

I went gorilla trekking in Rwanda a few years back and was charged by a silverback. He stopped two feet short of my quaking ass. Scariest and most thrilling thing that ever happened to me. The whole trek was a once in lifetime trip. Phenomenal.

He was just sizing me up. I made the mistake of  getting between him and his family. And yes you' re supposed to assume a submissive posture. I didn't. I was so scared I just froze.

Still, amazing experience I'm sure. Watching that video, i can't even imagine. Those silverbacks are huge!

That is incredible BM, I can't imagine a trek like that.  Would be out of this world.
