Just DL'd the NYE '07 show. fwiw, it's free on LiveDownloads, but the first set is incomplete (I guess that's why it's free).

no idea why it's incomplete but LD is only mp3 I assume.
they allowed a SBD patch that night (as well as NYE 06 and 'roo '09 and some terminal 5 shows in '07 I think and so on).

Yeah a lot of us were discussing moe in Baltimore.  I think it will be a decent group getting together.  For me its just logistics.  2 dogs and a baby makes things a little difficult.  Totally do-able, just have to pay my taxes, before and after.  Meaning, it will be fun!

I just raged your NYE recording.  Very good pull.  Thanks for sharing and taping. 

I'm not a professed moe.ron like some of you.  I def think their nye show was better than Phish or Panic.  I think my biggest issue is that moe is a lot like a philosophy professor to me, the points are valid, but it could of been stated with just a little applied brevity.  Like that Recreational Chemistry is full of energy, and exploration.  The build up wankery at the end is what kills me.  I just get bored hearing some dudes trying to channel their inner RAWK guitar gods.

thanks man.  the sound in the venue was great.  I seriously had nothign to do with the tape coming out good.

I'll go back and listen to the rec chem and see what the drums and percussion were like but sometimes when it seems to be dragging along, you need to take the focus off the guitars and listen to jim and vin in the back.

plus al just wants to be a rockstar.
