Dark, a new series funded by Netflix, made in Germany, involving time travel. Very good, very smart, and indeed, very dark.

Wrote up more thoughts here:

www.standbyformindcontrol.com/2018/03/dark-in-which-the-future-is-past-and-vice-versa-and-various-versas-besides/

--but in short, well worth your time if you need a show to watch.

Second season of this show is up, and it takes up right where the first season left off.
Lots of great time travel mindfucks in here.
Haven't finished this new season yet, but good so far.
If you've not watched either season, check it out!
And if, like me, you watched the first season over a year ago, you're screwed. The season 1 recap is useless. I actually went back and rewatched the whole season just to remember what the heck happened and who was who. Which was worth it.

Yeah I realized during S2 ep 3 I need to do this haha.

Second the recommendation re: Dark, it is a good show
Dysfunction and itemized lists of people's failures are where it's at.

My so watches this with my eldest. He wants to improve his German. Guess I have some caching up to do.

Just watched the Shaft reboot. On the upside: Samuel L. Jackson. On the downside: everybody else. Dad/son action movies suck as a rule, with only the Ford/Connery combo as the sole exception. And my people are hunting down the guy who put a fucking AutoTune verslon of the fabled theme song in the soundtrack.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Echo in the Valley is on Netflix. I checked it out last night and really enjoyed.

Its Canyon not Valley. Sorry about that guys.

Have we talked about The End Of The F***ing World?
That show is terrific and season 2 dropped about a month ago.

GO WATCH IT

If you have watched it, check out this podcast in which I, the guest, discuss the show. Spoilers abound!

Whoa, I loved that show!  Had no idea there was another season in the works, let alone one that's already out.  Gonna check out that pod for sure.  Thanks!

Watched it Monday, really cool.
