Pfft...you know TAB is gonna blow Phish out of the water right off the bat.

TAB jams more than phish.  There, I said it.

in '03, maybe. the TAB of this year and last certainly doesn't.

TAB is a pop band now.

It's sh** like this tournament and the discussions that it brings out that make me love this board so much.   :-D

Yeah it's a seriously awesome way to spend an hour and twenty minute social psychology class. I could easily let this noise take up all my time if I wanted to.

I wonder if we'll see any shutouts...

Quick note about rules.

The polls are setup to expire at the end of the week (5 days).  You have to vote to see the results and you can change your vote.

What happens in the event of a tie?
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

24-hr OT?

I like a 24 hour OT.  Done!

Ultimately I'll have to use a coin flip if that ends in a tie.  Higher Seed will be heads.

Not that any of it matters.

It's still just gonna come down to Phish vs Grateful Dead.

I'm not so sure about that..........

Have you run the entire bracket?
Not just based on your preferences but based on the group at large?

No, I haven't.  Perhaps it's just wishful thinking, but I could def. see some surprises in there.

I see your point, but personally, I'm going to have a hard time picking anyone over Marley.  To me, there's just no other music that works no matter the situation.

Yup. I have Marley winning it all.
Sometimes we live no particular way but our own.

Filling out my personal bracket now.  This first round was fairly easy.  Next round, however, my brain is going to explode.

Is that based on YOUR picks or based on what you think the Paug will pick?

Either way, you're wrong.

I was telling GAH yesterday over a beer that the first round definitely a little less substance.  I think rounds 2 and beyond are where things really get interesting and some real tough decisions/discussions will occur.
