Pretty sure I'll be at that GBA late nite mj show at tips.
Nice! I kind or figured you wouldn't be missing that. Should I buy tickets early?

GBA? Tipitinas? Late night special set?

I would.

Watched this a couple weeks ago but had to hold on to it and watch it a few times. It is definitely worth seeing.

Oh, and

6 WEEKS TO  GO!

Yesterday morning, getting ready for work, in the middle of shaving, looking outside at a rainy, gloomy morning, started daydreaming about the sun on my face and feet in the mud at fest, and just had to take a break and busted out dancing to the music in my head. Yes, I'm a weirdo. But fuck, fest'll do that to you!

(taken inside Blue Nile, one word, it's that simple)

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Got my highlighter ready!

Just one? I got 3 different colors. Definite sets, maybe sets, and food breaks! HA HA!  :hereitisyousentimentalbastard

There are no definite sets... sometimes rain forces you into a tent... occasionally (Thursday last year was one of these days) the weather is just so nice outside that you simply can't go in a tent no matter who's playing. As for food... the only thing on the food schedule is my first stop on the first day before even seeing any music... Cochon!!!

YES! I will never forget last years. Best start to fest ever.

Here's one for you guys, wtu and heath, I just arrived, PG picks me up, we walk to fest, sun is shining warmth on your skin, nice gentle breeze going, pick up our cochon po boys, have a seat in the grass, just grabbed a couple beers too, listening to gov't majik afrobeat arkestra, and Lucia Micarelli (annie from treme) is standing right there. It was a feast for ALL the senses at once. I'm pretty sure I said something like this is what heaven must be like.  :hereitisyousentimentalbastard

BTW, I've never been a fan of the BayouWear, but something about this years design, Jumble YaYA,  just grabs me. I think I might have to grab one!  :-D
