Saw the John Butler Trio and G.Love and Special Sauce, this past Sunday.  Good times on Pier Six in Baltimore that night.  Met up with 'Lope, too.

Awesome venue, too bad the sound couldn't have been better.  Both bands rocked it.

Blackbird encore with both of them on acoustic.  A nod to the Beatles is always nice.

Saw Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, and Victor Wooten the other night. It was an excellent concert. The band was a five piece with a drummer, keyboard, and the three bassists. Very interesting line up. Didn't know what to expect but was very satisfied. The highlight of the night was Stanley Clarke taking a ten minute solo on the upright and receiving a standing ovation.

For the most part yeah they were all playing four string electrics. Stanley's tone was the brightest, Vic's in the middle, and Marcus's the deepest. Stanley played I think two tunes on the upright, and Marcus played a saxophone for one tune. Overall though, just a barrage of low frequencies.

sounds cool.
Stanley is great

I saw something similar a few years ago - Ray Brown, John Clayton, and Christian McBride. The show was released on a CD called Super Bass
